| Customer Reviews: Very happy September 3, 2008 D. Woods (Wilmington, DE) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this shave cream. It leaves a very smooth shave, with no itching or bumps. I also use it on my legs and underarms and the shave lasts a little longer. Will definitely continue to use and recommend this product.
Amazing! September 3, 2009 Abigail Boynton (Tucson, AZ United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
About a month ago I shaved "down there" for the first time. I used a regular shaving cream, and it was TERRIBLE! I had hundreds of bumps all over, ingrown hairs, the works. I even used ingrown hair remedies to try and alleviate the problem. Nothing worked!
Obviously I couldn't shave again for a while, so I decided to buy Coochy shave cream, and once the bumps and ingrown hairs had reduced a great amount, decided to give it a go again. I showered, and put coochy on during the shower to let it sit. I finally shaved, and it was as smooth as ever. I thought, "Thats how it always starts though, and then the bumps and irritation start showing up later."
I waited an hour, 2 hours, DAYS, and nothing showed up. There were still a few bumps left over from the previous time, but no new bumps!
I was ecstatic. Though I still used the ingrown hair remedy after i shaved, I'm convinced what really did the job was coochy shave cream. Since then, I have shaved (even once every other day) and still no new irritation. I wouldn't use regular shaving cream again if you paid me.

Works Great, Might Choose A Different Scent Next Time May 18, 2010 Angela Thiesfeldt My title says it all.
Coochy Shave Cream is fantastic. It does not disappoint. When I used it in the shower it didn't lather up like I had expected. I believe that may have been because there was too much moisture. It does instruct to wet the area before shaving but it may have been too much to work 100% in the shower. The next time I used it I tried outside of the shower. In my opinion this works much better. Just get your legs (or coochy) pretty damp with a rag and then apply the cream. It turns white and spreads easily. If you use this to shave large areas I would recommend only doing a section at a time as the cream does fade and sort of dry out after a few minutes.
I was also concerned that the product would "clog up" my razor. For a while I would shave my legs after applying a moisturizing lotion like Aveeno. Sure it worked, but you better have enough money to buy lots of replacement blades. This did not happen with Coochy. In fact, I think it actually HELPS clean the hair out of the blades. Maybe it acts as some sort of lubricant? All I know is it works!
My only real complaint is that the scent is not quite what I expected. Another reviewer said it smelled like most shampoos. I wouldn't quite say that. Most shampoos I've used have a fruity or tangy kind of scent. It certainly doesn't smell like Aussie or Herbal Essences. I would describe it as more of a lotion-y, sunscreen, baby powder-ish smell. Not my favorite. I haven't tried any of the other scents but I think next time I purchase this product (which may be a while, there is a lot in the bottle and not much is needed for each application) I will buy the pear berry scent in the pink bottle. I've read the green tea is nice too, but I'm still a little apprehensive.
The Protection Mist is interesting, it leaves a little bit of a sticky residue for awhile but it is certainly not bad enough to stop use. Also, it can cause a burning sensation if the skin is already irritated. I sprayed my bikini line with it and immediately felt burning and my pores turned red the moment the mist touched the skin. I dabbed it with a towel and the pain passed in moments. I must emphasize that the majority of the time it is not unpleasant.
Added bonus: made in America and no animal testing :) gotta love that!
Better than expected July 14, 2010 Amanda Alwyn I bought this after a friend recommended it. I have to say, I'm impressed. It lasts days longer than shaving and leaves your skin so smooth. The downside is that it really just looks like a hair conditioner and is a little odd to get used to shaving with. It's clear, and unless your shower has good lighting (or you shower in a bath with the curtain open) it's hard to see where you've already shaved, and if you've missed any spots. As long as you rinse your razor often, it's doesn't gunk up the blades. I have found that I get more nicks than with a foaming shave cream, but I don't feel like I have to shave again after a few hours ... instead it's more like two days. I'll trade a few small nicks for not having to shave so often.
